How the knobs work
- Radios: tune the STBY frequency (− / + buttons, scroll wheel, or just type it), then press ⇆ to swap it to active. ID plays the station's Morse ident. If you don't hear it, don't use it.
- Round knobs (OBS, CRS, ADF HDG, heading BUG): drag, scroll, or tap the left/right half. Arrow keys work too (Shift = 10°).
- HSI: switch NAV 1 to an HSI to see the heading indicator and CDI combined, like the G1000's HSI. Set the yellow course pointer with CRS.
- Flying: press Fly (or Space). The plane turns toward the orange heading bug at standard rate. ← / → move the bug.
- Magnetic variation is 0° on this chart, so every bearing is magnetic. The chart has no altitude, so DME shows ground distance.
